17TH IMC ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING – 16 DECEMBER 2009

The Institute recently held its 17th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 16 December 2009 at SPRING Singapore.

Besides giving the participants a chance to reconnect with their fellow IMC members and network with new ones, the meeting also brought up several important matters while updating members on the latest happenings of the Institute.

The evening began with a warm welcome extended to all new members who were presented with their MIMC Certificates by IMC President Dr. Teo Cheng Swee. Following the ceremony, things got under way as the Council led the members through a report of the yearly activities, proposed changes to the IMC Constitution, a possible rebranding of the Institute and other new developments.

Finally, the elected Council Members were announced with newly elected members Francis Aurol, Lydia Goh and Peter Hui beginning their terms as Honorary Secretary and Council Members respectively.

It was a productive evening of lively debate and interaction and IMC looks forward to being able to bring the Institute even further in the coming year with the help of its valued members.
