PMC / IMC Members’ Evening – 26 May 2009

Approximately 100 guests, consisting of members of the Institute of Management Consultants (IMC), certified Practising Management Consultants (PMCs), and aspiring management consultants attended the event that was held at the Swissotel Merchant Court Hotel.

Mr Yap Pao-Jui, Head of Business Excellence from SPRING Singapore, presented on the PMC Certification Scheme and how it enhances the professional standing and credibility of management consultants. Mr Philip Kee, Vice President of IMC, spoke about the benefits of becoming an IMC member. Mr George Huang, Member of the IMC Board of Governors and Chairman of the PMC Certification Board, touched on the importance for management consultants to be certified, as well as the need for management consultants to be represented by a professional body like IMC.

To increase the benefits to PMCs, and enhance IMC’s stature as the representative body for management consultants in Singapore, Mr George Huang announced that all certified PMCs will be granted a one-year complimentary IMC membership.
